08/29/2023 Cheyanne Crain, EMT-P, has become Ripley County Ambulance District's newest paramedic after passing her practical and written exams. We would like to congratulate Cheyanne for doing a fantastic job and look forward to her serving in her new capacity!
08/23/2023 Ripley County Ambulance District took possession of a new 2023 Ambulance built by Osage Ambulance of Linn, Missouri. The new unit was ordered in early 2022 and will be a great asset to the district and citizens of Ripley County.
08/15/2023 Students start the first day of Emergency Medical Technician Training to be held at Ripley County Ambulance District. They will spend the next four months learning pre-hospital emergency care in preparation for testing to become a Missouri licensed EMT. Ripley County Ambulance District is officially designated as a training entity for EMT and EMS continuing education.
04/17/2023-The Ripley County Ambulance Board of Directors of Ripley County Ambulance District has received cost information for possible membership under the Missouri Local Government Employees Retirement System (LAGERS). Section 105.675 RSMo. provides that (a) when a political subdivision is adopting coverage with LAGERS, a prepared statement regarding the cost of adoption of coverage shall be prepared in accordance with Section 105.665 RSMo.; (b) the statement of cost shall be made available as public information for at least 45 calendar days before taking final action to adopt the change in benefits; and (c) the statement of cost shall be filed in the office of the clerk, secretary or other individual responsible for keeping the official records , and with the joint committee on public employee retirement In accordance with Section 105.675 Revised Statutes of Missouri. In compliance with section 105.675 RSMo, said cost information shall be made available for public inspection for at least 45 calendar days from today prior adoption of the benefit change.
