The EMT-Basic course is offered in the Fall semester of 2023. Tuberculin (PPD) skin test and criminal background check are required for clinical experience. Graduates are eligible to take the National Registry EMT-Basic practical and written examinations for licensure in Missouri. There are questions on the licensure application related to the conviction of any crime (traffic violations, drug and/or alcohol, etc.). Affirmative answers may result in the applicant being denied licensure by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, Bureau of EMS.
Clinical experience will be scheduled by the student to accommodate work and home life
Tutoring will be every Tuesday and Thursday from 6am-9am and 3pm-4:30pm by request as needed.
Cost will be $1,200 and will be paid prior to start of class.

Requirements:
Age 18 or older by completion of class (Dec 2023)
GED, high school diploma, or still enrolled in high school
Valid driver's License
Transportation to class and clinical sites
